Virazon II was designed by NavTek Deniz Teknolojileri with INA’s archaeologists and built at Mengi Yay’s shipyard.

General features

We are proud to say that this yacht is the first and only ship specially designed, built and classed specifically for archaeological research in the world while there are many research ships for general purposes etc. With 24.95 m in length and 8.10 m in width Virazon II can accommodate 19 people. She equipped a 5 ton capacity A frame, 500 kg. Capacity crane, high pressure recompensing chamber against decompression sickness, low pressure compressors for underwater excavations, high pressure compressors which can fill air and Nitrox, internal side vision and down vision sonar for locating shipwrecks.
